At the outset, I would like to welcome all of you to this esteemed Institution. I am happy to mention that this institution has a glarious past, and all our endeavors and activities in future must be to continue and upload those traditions and ideals. We must follow the model of hardwork, discipline, and humanistic culture. The great tradition of the College, built over the years, must not receive any blow. We must ensure this. We ought to preserve and protect this heritage and each passing day add new feathers to its cap.

Our academic activities and efforts should be to make our country a knowledge-based super power. With this in view, we have stepped-in to meet the present day Academic menu for the students’ community. The idea is to create oppurtunities in various fields by incorporating the latest specialities, which would cater to the critical needs of the industry and economy.

We foresee a close interaction among the universities, industries, business houses and associations in modeling the content and skills. This will make education more and more vocational and skill based. This will surely result in a better employability and greater productivity, ultimately contributing to the nation’s economy.

I, indeed, wish all of you to keep this message of the college as a kind of sacred reminder, an emblem of steadfastness that might help carry your appalling burdens of responsibility right up to the last breath.
